Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist needed for ongoing locums assignment | SC

SCOPE OF WORK: • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across assigned modalities. • Support imaging needs throughout the Regional Health Network. • Perform radiology procedures within training, privileging, and facility guidelines. • Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams regarding imaging findings and recommendations. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Read and interpret diagnostic imaging studies. • Perform interventional radiology procedures including arteriograms, CT-guided biopsies, ablations, embolization’s, kyphoplasty, vascular access procedures, nephrostomy tube placements, biliary drainages, and related studies. • Perform general radiology procedures including lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, fluoroscopic gastrointestinal studies, modified barium swallows, ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and galactograms. • Document findings and procedural results in accordance with facility standards. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Average RVU volume of 70 to 80 per shift. • Provider will work within a pool of radiologists supporting the regional network. • Access to established imaging infrastructure utilizing Sectra PACS and PowerScribe. SCHEDULE: • Typical weekday schedule of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. • Monday through Friday coverage. • No call responsibilities. • Onsite; Remote not an option
