Opportunity Details:

Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning October 2026. This call-only position offers flexible block scheduling, support from experienced advanced practice providers, and the opportunity to work within an established cardiothoracic surgery program utilizing Epic EMR. Clinical responsibilities include cardiothoracic call coverage, inpatient rounding, admissions, and management of a broad range of adult cardiac and thoracic surgical conditions. Providers with experience performing CABG, valve procedures, thoracic surgery, bronchoscopy, and critical care management are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon required. Fellowship training is mandatory. ACLS and ATLS certifications are required. Candidates must be eligible for hospital privileges and able to obtain Minnesota licensure prior to the start of the assignment. Experience providing independent cardiothoracic surgery call coverage is preferred.
