SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide comprehensive emergency medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and stabilization of patients presenting to the emergency department. • Deliver high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams and adhering to facility protocols. • Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation within the facility EMR. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and emergent conditions. • Perform emergency procedures consistent with training, privileges, and facility requirements. • Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and specialty consultations as appropriate. • Ensure compliance with quality, patient safety, and documentation standards. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Emergency department environment with support from hospital clinical and administrative teams. • Shift-based coverage model with a variety of day, evening, and overnight schedules. • Additional facility-specific details available during presentation and credentialing. • Coverage needed across varying shifts, including nights. • Typical shift times include: • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM • No call required.
