Locums Opportunity in KY | Physicians – Medical Oncology/Hematology

SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology and hematology care, including evaluation, treatment planning, follow-up management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. • Participate in clinic coverage, limited hospital rounding, call coverage, and procedural services as needed. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate and manage adult patients with oncology and hematology diagnoses. • Perform bone marrow biopsies as clinically indicated. • Develop treatment plans and oversee ongoing cancer and blood disorder management. • Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and Radiation Oncology providers to optimize patient care. • Provide limited inpatient consultation and rounding when needed. • Participate in scheduled night call coverage for established patients. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Approximately 65% Medical Oncology and 35% Hematology patient mix. • Dedicated RN support for patient care coordination, referrals, and administrative assistance. • Medical assistants available to support clinic operations. • Collaborative relationship with onsite Radiation Oncology team. • Opportunity to supervise and collaborate with APPs.
