Locums Opportunity | Urology | Clinic + Surgery | New York

WORKSITE SETTING: • Hospital-based urology practice. • Outpatient clinic, procedural suite, and operating room environment. SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide comprehensive urology services in both clinical and surgical settings. • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of urologic conditions. • Perform office-based procedures, cystoscopies, surgical cases, and robotic-assisted procedures as needed. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct outpatient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning. • Perform bread-and-butter urology procedures and surgical interventions. • Provide operating room and cystoscopy coverage according to the weekly schedule. • Participate in weekday call coverage and address urgent urologic patient needs. • Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers when appropriate. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Average patient volume of 15-25 patients per day. • Three highly trained physician assistants provide support with rounding, admissions, discharges, and office visits. • Established support structure promotes efficient patient flow and physician productivity. START DATE: • September 2026 ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: • Ongoing with possibility of extension and future coverage opportunities. SCHEDULE: • Monday through Friday. • Three clinic/office days: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. • One operating room day: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. • One cystoscopy day: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. • Monday through Thursday call coverage with minimal callbacks. • No weekend call.
