Non-Invasive Cardiologist | Inpatient Consults, TEE & Call Coverage | South Carolina

WORKSITE SETTING: • Community hospital • Inpatient cardiology service line • Multi-facility coverage between 2 locations SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide general cardiology consultative services • Round on hospitalized cardiology patients • Perform TEE procedures and cardioversions as clinically indicated • Supervise cardiac stress testing • Participate in assigned call coverage responsibilities CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate and manage inpatient cardiology consultations • Perform and interpret TEE procedures • Conduct cardioversions when indicated • Supervise stress testing services • Coordinate care with hospital staff and specialty teams VOLUME | SUPPORT: • 1 site – inpatient volume averages 90-100 patients • Additional site – census averages 55-60 patients daily • Inpatient cardiology volume at 1st site is minimal • STEMI admissions managed by Interventional Cardiology START DATE: • Nov 9, 2026 • Ongoing coverage need ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: • Ongoing • 7-day coverage blocks with recurring scheduling opportunities SCHEDULE: • Coverage runs Monday 7:00 AM through the following Monday 7:00 AM • Waccamaw: General cardiology consults, inpatient rounding, procedures, and call coverage • Georgetown: Night call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily during assignment week • Weekend call coverage from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM • Weekend morning stress testing coverage required at Georgetown • Minimum Shift Commitment: 7 consecutive days of coverage. Must be willing to take night and weekend call
