Opportunity Details:

SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage • Manage labor and delivery patients • Respond to inpatient OB/GYN consults and emergencies • Perform required OB/GYN surgical procedures • Optional clinic coverage available based on candidate interest and facility needs CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Vaginal deliveries • Operative deliveries as needed • Cesarean sections • Suction D&C procedures • Laparoscopic procedures • Circumcisions • Tubal ligations • Reading and interpretation of NSTs • Emergency obstetric and gynecologic care VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Volume details not provided by facility • Supported by hospital clinical and nursing staff • Provider expected to practice independently within scope of privileges

Requirements:

LICENSURES | CERTIFICATIONS | REQUIREMENTS: • Active Michigan medical license preferred • IMLC candidates considered • Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years • ACLS certification required • BLS certification required • PALS certification required • All residency and fellowship training programs must be ACGME approved • No significant malpractice history • NPDB report dated within 90 days of presentation • Three professional references from the previous 18 months • Required case logs documenting 50 deliveries and 25 GYN procedures within 12 months
