Opportunity Details:

A healthcare system in Northern California is seeking a Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon for ongoing inpatient and outpatient coverage. The provider will deliver a combination of clinic services and call coverage, managing a wide range of adult neurosurgical conditions including complex spine cases, trauma, tumors, VP shunts, peripheral nerve procedures, and spinal surgeries with and without instrumentation. The schedule consists of weekday clinic coverage from 8:30am to 5:00pm with overnight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities. Epic EMR is utilized at the facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative clinical team and support a regional patient population with comprehensive neurosurgical care.

Requirements:

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 to 5 years of residency completion and hold an active California medical license. An active DEA registration and FLUORO certification are required. Physicians should have recent hospital-based neurosurgical experience, including complex spine procedures, and be able to provide evidence of recent case activity. Applicants must meet hospital credentialing requirements, including submission of relevant case logs and explanation of any significant work history gaps.
