Multi-Site Urgent Care Centers – APPs Needed in CT for Weekend + Weekday Coverage

SCOPE OF WORK: • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in an urgent care environment. • Provide evidence-based care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. • Perform common urgent care procedures while maintaining efficient patient flow and quality outcomes. • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care delivery. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assessment and treatment of common urgent care complaints and episodic conditions. • Suturing, wound care, incision and drainage procedures, and splint application. • Interpretation of X-rays, EKGs, and diagnostic testing consistent with urgent care practice. • Ordering appropriate diagnostic studies, medications, and follow-up care plans. • Documentation and chart completion within EPIC. • Independent management of patient volume while maintaining quality and productivity standards. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Providers should have demonstrated experience managing high-volume urgent care patient loads. • Client specifically requests providers with a history of strong patient throughput during 12-hour shifts. • Clinical and operational support available through the Hartford HealthCare GoHealth network. • Flexibility to support multiple locations is essential.
