Urgent Care Coverage Needed | Physician – Locums | Colorado

SCOPE OF WORK: • Provide comprehensive urgent care services for patients presenting with low to moderate acuity illnesses and injuries. • Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and disposition patients of all ages while maintaining high-quality documentation and patient throughput standards. • 100% Urgent Care • EMR training is required before the first clinical shift • Onsite orientation is 1 day with the MMD CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate and treat urgent care patients from 3 months through geriatric ages. • Perform medical screening examinations and develop treatment plans. • Read and interpret EKGs. • Interpret X-rays with final reads supported by teleradiology. • Manage occupational medicine and workers’ compensation cases. • Complete DOT physicals when applicable. • Document encounters accurately within the EMR. VOLUME | SUPPORT: • Average volume of approximately 3-3.5 patients per hour. • Providers practice independently in the clinic setting with onsite support staff available. Final radiology interpretations are supported through teleradiology services.
