Excellent Opportunity for Cardiology Fellows! Earn Supplemental Income Working 2 Shifts Per Month

OnCall Solutions is partnered with a hospital located in the suburbs of Philadelphia that needs Cardiac ICU Coverage throughout 2023. We are looking for cardiology fellows who are interested in working a minimum of 2 shifts a month to join our OnCall Solutions team of locums and moonlighting physicians. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income during your training, gain experience, and grow your network!


Minimum 2 shifts per month for the next 6 months


  • Teaching Hospital
  • 12 bed Cardiac ICU
  • Typical volume is 8-10 patients


  • 6:30 pm – 6:30 am Monday – Friday
  • 5:00 pm – 6:30 am Saturday and Sunday (13.5 hours)

Job Details:

  • Manage a CT surgery, Cardiology ICU Unit, perform cardiology consults, and cover answering service
  • Basic ventilator management. In-house Respiratory Therapy
  • In-house Anesthesia. No intubations
  • Perform up to 3 cardiology consultations until midnight. One weekend shift performs up to 5 cardiology consults until midnights. No new consults after midnight unless it’s urgent
  • Manage PRN issues for patients, as well as a handful of CT surgery patients on tele floor.
  • Must be comfortable with central lines (IJ) and arterial lines (radal)


  • Board Certified Internal Medicine/Cardiologist OR in a Cardiology Fellowship
  • Active Pennsylvania license
  • DEA


  • To be discussed at time of interview

Credentialing Timeframe:

  • 4 to 6 weeks
